For a while now, I've been gathering the inspiration to paint my brother's dog, Ernie. Finding the perfect photo that captures his essence took some time, but when it finally surfaced, I decided to dive into the painting process without overthinking.

After a week of contemplation, I realized that the true spirit of capturing Ernie lies in the spontaneity of the brushstrokes. So, I embraced the canvas with a sense of adventure and let the painting unfold organically.

Introducing 'Ernislaw'—a tribute to the canine charm of Ivan and Asia's beloved furry friend. Crafted on a primed canvas, painted with acrylics, and measuring 60 x 60 cm, this piece is a heartfelt portrayal of Ernie's personality.

The finishing touch, a protective layer of varnish, will be applied tomorrow. I sincerely hope that Ivan, Asia, and, of course, Ernie himself will find joy and warmth in this artistic rendition.
