Genes, it seems, hold quite a sway. My family home, adorned with art, had scarcely an empty wall. Pictures, carefully chosen, adorned every nook.

During a visit, my mother couldn't stand the sight of blank walls and, true to her artistic spirit, purchased a painting that now graces the upstairs hallway. While there's a plan to paint over it someday, the walls are already orchestrating a new masterpiece in my mind.
